People’s Assembly for Climate Justice met with Police Violence

As the climate negotiations in Copenhagen are on the verge of collapse, yesterday hundreds of people staged a walk out of the Bella Center to join the thousands who were denied entry in the effort to transform the closed-door negotiations into a People’s Assembly. As Josh mentions, they were met with police violence, arrest and pepper spray, and shut out of the climate summit. Check out this excellent UK Guardian clip of the actions as they went down yesterday.
