One of the reasons the revolution we need isn’t happening is that we aren’t suffering YET. But if we wait till we suffer enough to make the inconvenient changes that need to be made, it will be too late. Our only hope is to awaken empathy…because people and animals and whole bio-systems are already suffering. Let empathy be our wake up call to action.

Youth have power to insist that their parents boycott BP until they clean up the disaster they caused. They made $5billion this quarter…DURING the oil spill (135% more than last year.) All of that extra profit needs to go to disaster response and we can help them make that decision.
